Distant Horizons is an outdoor activity provider based at Watermillock in the Eden Valley. We run corporate challenge events, team building days, group activities, technical outdoor training and provide outdoor equipment hire.
Having our base in Ullswater means we are surrounded by a fantastic outdoor adventure playground using the lake for canoeing, kayaking, coasteering & cliff jumping and the surrounding hills for rock climbing, gorge walking and mountaineering.
We also have a fantastic indoor facility which is fully kitted up to offer rope access courses whether you are planning an overseas high altitude trip and therefore requiring crevasse rescue skills, or for mountaineering expertise closer to home. If you are looking for just a bit of family fun our indoor centre also has a climbing wall, abseil and archery range. Perfect for when the weather is being a bit temperamental.
