Two hours leisurely sail West of our location, through the beautiful rolling hills of the Pennines, will bring you to the famous Mile Long Foulridge Tunnel and beyond into the heartland of our once thriving industrial towns which afforded the building of the canal.
Sailing East towards Yorkshire will bring you first to the picturesque Greenberfield Locks. Beyond, the canal winds it way gently through beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside towards Skipton. This is reputedly one of the nicest canal stretches in the country.
